Global superstar and multi-Grammy award winner Mariah Carey will officially launch Christmas at Westfield London on Thursday 19th November at 6:00pm. The singer/songwriter will help spread some Christmas cheer across the capital by switching on the dazzling Christmas lights to mark the opening of Wonderland - Westfield London's ultimate Christmas shopping experience. It doesn't stop there, much to the delight of her fans Mariah Carey will also be holding a special signing for her new album Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel - out on November 23rd followed by and an exclusive chance to take your photo with Mariah as part of her FOREVER UK fragrance launch exclusively with Boots.

This exclusive appearance by Mariah who has sold more than 175 million records world-wide, promises to be a first class affair. In true celebrity fashion, Westfield London has decided to make this the most memorable affair with pyrotechnics, VIP carpets, butterfly confetti and hundreds of fans. The Southern Terrace - Westfield's elegant dining boulevard - will be transformed into a VIP pink carpet, lined with fans and shoppers whilst Mariah makes an entrance under a snowfall of confetti.

 "Mariah Carey switching on the lights will be the icing on the cake for what has been an incredible year for Westfield London," said the venue's head of events Joe Russell. "We've had lots of celebrities come to Westfield in the last year, but Mariah is the biggest," he added. Westfield is holding a special drawing for fans to attend Mariah's CD signing.

The Forever fragrance is sold exclusively at 3 key Boots locations - Westfield, Oxford Street, and Liverpool Street. Forever will be available for purchase starting Monday, November 16, 2009.
